I will be sure to update this post in a few days with my preferred removal method & if the wraps have damaged my natural nail. I can't tell if the wraps will leave my nails damaged. I haven't done this procedure yet so I don't know how easy or hard it is. Whatever you do, peeling off with hands is not recommended. I haven't taken my wraps off yet but have read a few methods to do so- dipping in nail paint remover for a 20-30 seconds, using Coconut, oilve oil, lemon and a few other tricks. I can imagine it being quite a cumbersome process if I had to collect everything and also use a hair dryer. I had everything I needed and the products were not cheap quality either. They are time consuming.Yes! but I found that having the application kit made it super easy. I've heard mixed reviews on Jamberry wraps. There's no weight and I actually can't tell if I have anything on, as with nail paints. I suspected the wraps would look fake but they are look pretty natural and well bonded to my nails. I'm hoping they'll last me till Christmas so I can show them off. I've only had them for 3 days and haven't had any peeling, fading or chipping whatsoever. I'm really happy with how they've held on. He even helped me take pictures for a step by step tutorial. I really hope my nails last till Christmas because I'd frikkin love to rock it on that day. I had my eyes set on the summery mint 'Santa on Holiday' wrap so a very beachy Santa it was. Everything that I needed to get started was there, including 4 Christmas Nail wraps. It was definitely the tools that made it easier. I didn't need no cumbersome hair dryer nor did I need to hold it in my pre-occupied hands.
The mini heater had a very handy stand and one push button function. Surprisingly, I ended up using each and every product in the kit- The nail clipper, nail scissors, nail buffer, 2 x nail wipes, rubber cuticle pusher, a nail filer & 2 x Orange sticks (but these are not orange). It was easy! To be honest, the application kit and mini heater sent to me with the wraps was the key. As soon as I attempted the procedure, I pretty much regretted all the time I wasted. This will make the nail wraps more pliable.I've had the products sent to me weeks ago but had been putting off the application part, fearing it'll take forever and I'll mess it up.

If the wrap overlaps your skin or cuticles, it can cause lifting.
We suggest choosing a size slightly smaller than your entire nail to avoid the wrap sticking to your skin and cuticles. Apply the nail wraps slightly above your cuticle line.We recommend Orly Bonder Rubberized Base Coat. If you have brittle nails, apply a base coat before applying the nail wraps.We suggest applying the nail wraps before bed, as this ensures that you are not immersing them in water too soon after application. Avoid immersing your hands in water (showers, dishes) for several hours after you apply the nail wraps.If you have lotion on your hands, it can cause the nail wraps not to stick. Avoid using lotion prior to applying the nail wraps.Start applying the nail wraps at your pinky and work towards your thumb.
After the nail wraps have been removed, wash your hands with soap and water. Soak your nails in warm water for 5 minutes, then gently peel the nail wrap from the corner of your nail towards the tip of your nail. We recommend using Sally Hansen Miracle Gel shiny top coat. File off the excess in a downward motion.ġ0. Press and smooth the nail wrap firmly into place. Using the silver tab, peel the nail wrap from the paper backing.Ĩ. Remove the clear plastic cover on top of the nail wrap.Ħ. Choose the right size nail wrap for your nail.ĥ. Remove the nail wraps from the foil package.Ĥ. Push back your cuticles and wipe down each nail with the included alcohol wipe and let dry.ģ. Wash hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly.Ģ.
